To share a question and response with someone external to your firm, simply look for the icons located below each response. You can:
- Copy to Clipboard: Copy and paste the question, response and sources into a document or email
- Print: to print or save as a PDF for easy reference
To email yourself a copy of the answer, hit copy to clipboard and email it to yourself.
To download a source or document on Ask Blue J, simply click the printer icon in the upper right corner of the source. You can either print directly or save as a PDF from the print dialog box.
To copy material directly from Ask Blue J and paste it into a word document or email without altering the format:
- Press "Control + Shift + V" (Windows) or "Command + Shift + V" (Mac).
This allows you to paste content that matches your destination's format so that it doesn't look copied and pasted.
Recipients will be able to view the question, response and source names without needing to sign in to Ask Blue J. If you don’t want to include the source links, which do require an Ask Blue J subscription for viewing, you will need to delete those manually.
