If you’re having trouble accessing your Blue J account, this guide will help you quickly identify the issue and fix it.
Quick fixes (try this first)
- Make sure you’re using the correct email address
- If this is your first time logging in, check your inbox (and spam folder) for your password reset link
- If you can't find your password reset email, request a new email by inputting your email address at https://app.askbluej.com/ and clicking the "Forgot password?" link
4. If you are being asked for a six digit code, this is referring to multi-factor authentication (MFA). To find more information about MFA, head to Set up multi-factor authentication (MFA).

I didn’t receive my password reset email
What’s happening:
When your Blue J account is first opened, you should receive a welcome email followed by a password reset email so you can log in to your account.
What to check:
- Look in your spam/junk folder
- Search your inbox for “Blue J”
- Make sure you entered the correct email address
- Wait a minute or two (delivery can be slightly delayed)
Still not working?
- Request a new login link by inputting your email address at https://app.askbluej.com/ and clicking the "Forgot password?" link
- Try again using a different browser (we recommend using Chrome or Edge)
- Ensure that your email does not have spam blockers that are preventing Blue J emails from being delivered
If you still don’t receive anything, contact support at support@bluej.com.
My login link expired or doesn’t work
What’s happening:
Login links expire after 24 hours.
How to fix it:
- Go back to the login page
- Enter your email again
- Click "Forgot password?"
- Use the newest link emailed to you
Only the most recent login email will work.
I think I’m using the wrong email
What’s happening:
Your account may be tied to a different email (e.g., work vs personal).
What to try:
- Try logging in with any other email you may have used
- Check past emails from Blue J to confirm which address you signed up with
If you’re part of an organization, ask your admin which email is associated with your account.
I still can’t access my account
If none of the above worked, there may be an issue with your account setup.
